I was so excited to see this sweet little family again, and get to meet their new addition, Emerson! When Nicole emailed me to book their session, she told me that Chestnut Ridge was their special place, and we just knew that we had to shoot there. It is truly magical there this time of year, and I had so much wandering the woods with this crew :) I especially loved all of the little touches that Nicole thought of, including Aedan's favorite book, and a gorgeous handmade flower crown that she had crafted that afternoon. They are such a beautiful family & I am so happy to have been able to capture this special time for them! Welcome to world, Little Wolf!

10.06 | Nancy & Dave Wedding
Maybe
you remember Nancy & Dave from their super cute e-session ? I had
such a great time shooting that & have been so excited for their
wedding :) Nancy has been telling me about all of these amazing wedding
crafts she made, and I couldn't wait to see them in person! Gorgeous
rustic elements, like painted window chalkboards for ceremony &
reception seating, cut-out bird cake toppers and mason jar & wooden
pallet centerpieces really personalized their wedding. I loved getting
to check out all of the different elements! And I really loved finally
getting to shoot at the Castle ruins in Ellicott Creek Park & at the
Tonawanda Castle; both very cool spots. However, I think the highlight
of the day was Dave's brother signing a custom wedding toast to them, to
the tune of "The Hanhakuah Song" by Adam Sandler. It was hands-down,
the best best man speech ever; I was pretty much in tears from laughing
so hard by the end of it!!
Thanks to Dave & Nancy & their great bridal party for being so fun to work with!
