Lauren & Evan | Mansion on Delaware | Buffalo Wedding Photography

I'll always remember my first meeting with Lauren & Evan, where walked into the studio & started our conversation by telling me how much they hated weddings. Not the typical start to a wedding consult meeting with a bride & groom haha, but I totally got it! They wanted to make sure I understood that they weren't looking for a standard, cookie-cutter day, and they really wanted their wedding to be their own, full of love and fun, and skipping most of the worn traditions and stress. I couldn't have agreed with them more, and left thinking "I MUST SHOOT THIS WEDDING!!" So when they called me the next day to book, I was thrilled!

Their gorgeous, simple and wildly fun wedding at The Mansion on Delaware Ave certainly did not disappoint! They had incredible details, which you'll see throughout this post, but in my opinion, the best by far is Lauren's mega-cool dress! I also adored the fact that they had their parents in the wedding party, and their dog, Grayson, as the ring bearer (he did great!) Scroll down to check out the rest of this super-sweet wedding!

I just love when my couples exchange letters before they see each other! Such a sweet, special moment in a crazy day :)

See what I mean about this dress?! AMAZING!

 She's just stunning!

We did a First Look with Dad before the day kicked off :) This is such a nice moment to have on your wedding day!

Loved Evan's suit; a great modern take on a traditional look! Their First Look on the steps of the Mansion was so sweet.

We didn't even need to leave the grounds all day! There are so many great spots all over the Mansion to shoot. After we wrapped their photos, we headed downstairs for their ceremony.

Mom, aka Matron of Honor, with the Ring Bearer!

Their ceremony was led by a good friends of theirs, and included a beautiful wine blessing and incredible huppah to stand under!

LOVE this shot that Michelle grabbed of Lauren & Evan partying their way back upstairs into their cocktail hour!

In lieu of favors, they donated to a pet rescue group where they found Grayson. LOVE this!

Per usual, the Mansion was gorgeously decorated, and their Fall flower arrangements really popped agains that stunning dark wood!

Lauren & Evan made quite the entrance, and led right into an amazing dance, which led into an even better dance! They had so much fun with it & the crowd was going wild!

And just when you thought it was over...

They called everyone out to the dance floor to join them! This was ALL before dinner, and it was great to see how many people hopped in!

They then kicked a series of toasts, starting with Lauren's parents followed by a few friends (including a guest appearance by Kenny G haha). There were lots of tears & laughter throughout!

The dances they shared with their parents were so sweet. I loved that Lauren danced with her mom as well; I just adore everything about these moments.

Once the parent dances wrapped up, the party really got going! They kicked it off with an incredible Hava Nagila, with Lauren, Evan & both sets of parents flying above the crowd followed by some of the best dancing at any wedding EVER. It was so fun to photograph!!

Before we left, we just had to grab some shots outside, playing with light, the gorgeous building and this stunning couple! So in love with the results, especially the last shot!

L&E, you are just amazing. Thank you both so much for an action-packed, fabulous day!
