We had an absolutely beautiful day with Cassandra & André, and LOVED being a part of their celebrations. I am beyond excited to share these images of their sweet wedding at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue one month ago today. I loved so many things about this wedding, especially how they incorporated their story of falling in love and continuing their relationship while living in two different countries. It was also incredibly heart-warming to see just how many people from André's family flew in from Brazil to celebrate with them! But, over everything, I think the best part was how they had their parents and siblings as their bridal party. It was so utterly sweet and adorable to see them take the role of a traditional bridal party and we loved getting to hear their speeches and see them be such a big part of the day. We loved getting to shoot around the Mansion and a few other spots before a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and big, wild party inside! Check out all of the fun we had below :)

We headed into a lovely room at the Mansion for their First Look; their reactions are the sweetest!

After a gorgeous round of photos, we headed over to the Mansion's adorable courtyard area for a perfect outdoor ceremony. Even though they had already seen each other, the look on André's face when he saw his bride walk up the aisle was priceless! There's nothing that can take away that moment :)
They had a unique ceremony, which was in English and then translated to Portuguese. It was such a special touch and a beautiful way to honor André's heritage & his family.

LOVE this, André! And loved how their ceremony ended with beautiful music and cocktails awaiting all of the guests! The Mansion does it right ;)
Cassandra & André kicked off their reception with a lovely slideshow, of both of their lives separately & then together. The crowd loved it!
Cassandra's mom ran over to taste the frosting before they cut their cake; it was hilarious!
Cassandra's mom, the maid of honor, gave a beautiful & tearful speech, followed by André's dad!
They decorated the mantle downstairs with framed items from their journey together as a couple who met, fell in love & maintained that love while living in different countries, including Skype pictures, boarding passes, passports and more! After dinner, the dancing kicked off & took over The Mansion!
The tears in the eyes of André's family, as they watch him dance with his mom, really say it all.
Of course, we had to end with a shot that showcases this gorgeous couple and this incredible venue! What a perfect day; we were so lucky to have been asked to be a part of it! C&A, thank you for everything!!
