Beth & Ryan had a beautiful wedding, one month ago today! I am so excited to be sharing some favorites from their big day, which included a gorgeous church out in the country, a fun bridal party, adorable reception elements and plenty of crazy dancing! Oh yeah, and just a few raindrops ;) These two were determined to not let a summer shower and gray skies get in the way of a good time though! They totally embraced it, ditched the umbrellas and were game for whatever (essentially, dream clients!) The rain made the photos even more unique, especially the last shots of the night, which we're crazy about!
One of the flower girls, checking out Beth's wedding dress. How cute is she!?
Love Dad's face here; so sweet :)
These kids were cracking us up all day long... especially this one!
Gorgeous girl!
Lauren went & met with the guys at the church while I hung with the ladies; she grabbed these shots of our groom, Ryan, prepping for his ceremony.
This church has been in Ryan's family for generations, so even though it was a little off-the-beaten-path (and by that, I mean in a town I had never even heard of), it was a must for their wedding day. How cool to have a place with such history involved in their love story!
We loved these programs, including a beautiful hand-drawn illustration of the church by the ever-talented Rust Belt Love!?
While the flower girls were all business, the ring bearer kept stopping to do handstands & peek through his legs. Almost too cute to handle!
They had the sweetest, most excited faces throughout their entire ceremony!
The color & detail in this church is spectacular!
They had a bagpipe player lead them out of the church; everyone loved it!
We had to shoot a bit inside the church before we took off; it was just such a gorgeous space!
We headed over to Knox Farms & Gallagher's Beach for their bridal party pictures. Beth kept saying "I don't care about the rain! Let's ditch the umbrellas!" Love that in a bride!!
We headed over to Pearl Street to dry off & get the party started. As always, it was perfectly decorated, warm & cozy!
Instead of a big cake, they had these super cute mini-cupcakes of all different gourmet favors by Fairy Cakes Cupcakery! They were aaamazing!
They even had gifts for your dog, from their dog Jupiter! And a jar where you could view actual animal available for adoption from the Buffalo City Animal Shelter (which they donated to in lieu of favors). Love this idea!
Their tables were named after places around Buffalo that were a part of their story, with cool signs made by Rust Belt Love & beautiful wooden stands made by Ryan!
Ryan & Beth came in with a bang & got the part started right away with a sweet first dance :)
Love this shot of Beth's mom & her sister tearing up at the Father-Daughter dance
Beth jumped right in & didn't waste a second off the dance floor haha. All of the guests joined & it was a fabulous party! Eric from Premier Sound kept everyone dancing all night!
Beth & Ryan, thank you so much for being SO much fun, and for ditching the umbrellas & playing in the rain with us :) We LOVED capturing your story and being a part of your day!!
