Jessica & Jay rented out the entire Pioneer Camp on Old Lakeshore down in Angola for their wedding. All of their guests were able to stay in cabins right on the grounds & it was an amazing way to pull off a beach wedding in Buffalo (I've never gotten to shoot a wedding barefoot before haha had no idea what I was missing)! I'm going to talk about each photo for this post because well, holy CRAP this wedding had alot going on; from jet skis and speed boats to the biggest bridal party I've ever photographed (26 including the B&G!) to the best selection of beer I've ever seen at a wedding to a killer Kan Jam tournament to a wild collection of DIY decorations & more!
Handmade signs dotted the entire property
Shell with sand that the ring bearer carried down the aisle; what a great idea!
Meet Mr. Pibb; the tiniest & cutest member of the bridal party
Jess' stunning butterfly dress
Two of TWELVE bridesmaids helping Jess get dressed
Beach decor welcoming guests to the ceremony site
Amazing day on Lake Erie!
Groomsman awaiting the arrival of the bridesmaids
"Just pick a seat, not a side, because today two families become one"... I absolutely adore this
Bridesmaids arrived on a speedboat. It doesn't get any cooler than this, right?
WRONG! It gets WAY cooler when the bride & her dad fly in on a jetski!
Groomsmen carried the bridesmaids safely to shore
Jess' mom reassuring Jay when we realized the Justice of Peace was very, very, very late!
What a walk "down the aisle"!
Once we realized the Justice of Peace was just not coming, Jess' dad was quick on his feet & decided to do the ceremony himself. So even though they didn't get legally married that day, it was a heart-warming & hilarious ceremony. The entire crowd was laughing along with Jay, Jess & her dad.
Beer boat! I'm stealing this idea for our next backyard party!
Old lanterns hung with photos of both their families
Three generations of wedding rings; so wonderful!
After introductions, all of the guests were invited to pop champagne on their tables. It was dangerous! haha
Thank you both for a wonderful, relaxing & fun day!
