02.18 | Christine & Ryan Wedding

I was lucky enough to be invited out to Vegas for a wonderful wedding last weekend! Christine & Ryan had a beautiful ceremony at Caesar's Palace (which was covered by a local business, Imagine Studios, included with the package; the photographer did a great job!) I filled in the rest, including the getting ready shots & the fun portraits of the bride & groom. We ran (literally) around the Strip to get these shots in about 30 mins before heading to the Vegas sign (I mean, how can you resist that?) Afterwards, we dined on an amazing meal at Joe's Stone Crab. Thanks to the lovely couple for bringing me to such a fun city. Viva Las Vegas, baby!

02.23 | Leaving Las Vegas

Can't ever resist shots from the plane, especially heading out at sunset.

02.22 | Grand Canyon!

It was our first time seeing the Grand Canyon and we only had one full day, so we rose early & caught the sunrise and stayed through the sunset. What an incredible place! It was 4 degrees while we were there, which certainly didn't phase this Buffalo duo. There very few other tourists there & we had many spots to ourselves to enjoy the incredible view. The only downside was that most of the trails going down in the Canyon were covered with ice & closed off. Guess we just have to plan a return trip :)

01.14 | Chuck Portrait

I recently photographed one of my favorite local artists, Chuck Tingley, for an article I wrote for THRiVE Magazine. I stopped by his downtown studio as he was working on his new series ART IS DEAD.  I can't wait to see everything finished. Be sure to check out his work on his site here!

02.13 | Ashley & Jordan

I got to spend the day before Valentine's with a wonderful couple, Ashely & Jordan! We started our day at the Botanical Gardens to shoot a session with just the two of them. It was 75 degrees inside and it felt AMAZING! We headed off to Honu House on Elmwood for family portraits before settling in at Bistro Europa for a very intimate family ceremony & reception. Europa looked absolutely adorable inside & the entire day was filled with wonderful, colorful details (check out her handmade earrings, I wouldn't expect any less from such a creative soul!) Between the warmth in the Gardens and the bright, happy colors, I *almost* forgot it was winter :) Cheers to Ashley & Jordan; thank you for having me as a part of your special day.

I love when my brides go for COLOR, especially in their shoes!
