Temperatures well below freezing, mini-tornadoes of snow swirling on the ground and almost zero visibility.... that's how we started our day with Sean & Rebecca for their winter wonderland wedding on the 15th. While it was absolutely freeeeeezing outside, it was gorgeous inside both venues for the day. We got to shoot at one of my all-time favorite churches in Buffalo, Blessed Trinity on Leroy Ave in the East Side for a lovely ceremony, which included Rebecca's grandfather coming out of retirement as a priest to marry the two.
For photos, we bounced around Delaware Park to check out Flurrious, a winter fest hosted by Olmstead Parks. I thought it would be *way* too windy & cold for photos, but Rebecca was determined! I thought, if she could tough it out in a thin dress, then we could definitely make some gorgeous photos in our big parkas haha.
After running around in the wet snow, Pearl Street was the perfect reception site to warm up & dry off. We were welcome with a spread of their famous beer cheese soup, an elegant candlelit room and great music provided by Signature Entertainment. Rebecca & Sean let no detail slip by (high school sweethearts, Rebecca even wore her garter from prom, and look at those shoes!!!) We had a blast with their family & friends and enjoyed capturing their day :)
Beaaautiful!!!!

I dont know how these pictures could be any more beautiful... it truly seems like a perfect day. Everyone looked so amazing and although people say fairy tales dont come true, this little series and all of the other pictures I've seen seem to prove otherwise <3
