Ashley, Michael, Kimberly & William | Buffalo Family Photography | Herschell Carrousel Museum

I photographed Ashley & Michael's wedding years ago, and have so enjoyed hearing from them quite a few times since! I loved getting to photograph them with their daughter, Kimber, on their past few trips back to Buffalo, and was SO excited to get to meet their new little man, William, on their latest visit! We wanted somewhere fun, warm, and unique, and ended up at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in Tonawanda before heading downtown for the classic Shea's shot. They are such an easy-going, fun-loving family (any parents who let their kids jump in puddles for the sake of photos are 100% alright with me) and I had a great time hanging with them for this session.

I loved getting to see you all again & it was so great to meet William! Can't wait for your next visit :)

10.06 | Nancy & Dave Wedding

Maybe you remember Nancy & Dave from their super cute e-session ? I had such a great time shooting that & have been so excited for their wedding :) Nancy has been telling me about all of these amazing wedding crafts she made, and I couldn't wait to see them in person! Gorgeous rustic elements, like painted window chalkboards for ceremony & reception seating, cut-out bird cake toppers and mason jar & wooden pallet centerpieces really personalized their wedding. I loved getting to check out all of the different elements! And I really loved finally getting to shoot at the Castle ruins in Ellicott Creek Park & at the Tonawanda Castle; both very cool spots. However, I think the highlight of the day was Dave's brother signing a custom wedding toast to them, to the tune of "The Hanhakuah Song" by Adam Sandler. It was hands-down, the best best man speech ever; I was pretty much in tears from laughing so hard by the end of it!!

Thanks to Dave & Nancy & their great bridal party for being so fun to work with!
