We had a perfect day for Kristen & Donnie's e-session at Knox Farms last week! Kristen has been a bridesmaid in a few fabulous weddings that we've shot, so of course I was so excited when they booked :) I loved getting to hang with them & explore one of my favorite spots to shoot around WNY. Donnie had us cracking up the entire time, and if we had this much fun at their engagement session, I can't wait to see what the wedding brings! 

 

Rachel & Adam | Delaware Park Engagement Session | Buffalo Portrait Photography

I think one of the best perks of my job is getting to meet and hang with people who love Buffalo just as much as I do. I was so excited when I met with Rachel & Adam, and they talked about wanting an engagement session that showed off one of their favorite places, Delaware Park. It's so lovely there this time of year, and we totally lucked out & caught a day with gorgeous late-evening sunlight. We then headed over to Colonial Circle, and ended in front of the home they just bought, with the SOLD sign still on view. I loved this! It was such a sweet way to end a great shoot, and I love thinking about them having that shot in front of their new house, for years to come :)

Christie | Buffalo Portrait Photography, Tifft Nature Preserve & Gallagher Pier

I was so excited to receive an email from Christie, asking for fun, earthy, fashion portraits! We hit two of my favorite locations in Buffalo, Tifft Nature Preserve and Gallagher's Beach, and lucked out with the most perfect weather (after rescheduling about ten times due to rain!) I can't even tell you how much I love a client who says "I'm up for anything!" We hiked, we climbed trees, we splashed around in the lake; I left with my jeans soaked up to my thighs and a huge smile on my face. She is simply stunning, amiright!?

As we were walking around, she said "I don't really have a reason for doing this shoot... I just wanted pictures that capture who I am right now, so I can enjoy them forever. Does that make sense?"

Umm... YES! Thank you, Christie, for saying this! It's so important to remember to celebrate yourself, during big moments, and especially "just because". I am so excited to have been asked to capture these gorgeous photos with you; I hope you enjoy them forever!
